RVIA show in Pamona worth the trip<
We will be purchasing a 5th wheel next year and are in the final stages of our obsessive research. The RVIA show in Pamona Ca is supposed to be the biggest in the state and we are considering making the 5 hour trip to attend. Has anyone here attended and if so, was it worth it or is it just another show?
BTW, our leading candidate so far is the 337.
Thanks

We've been the past couple of years. Last year we were shopping and looking at the class A diesel pushers and ended up stumbling on the Momentum 376TH and......well, the rest is history. There will be Grand Design factory reps there. This is not your local parking lot RV show.......this is the largest show in the west. We spent two days and still didn't see everything but did get to see all the big RVs.
Plan to stay close by, plan your meals, maybe even a break off site (you can re-enter if you get the multi-day pass) and pace yourself. You will be worn out by the end of each day.SOLD my 2017 Momentum 376TH being pulled by a 2014 Ford F-350 Lariat, FX-4, Crew Cab, Longbed, Dually. Not pulling the 5er, catch me on my 2013 CVO Harley Ultra Classic.
Map = states that we've stayed at least one night in our RV.

That's where we did the actual buying of our fifth wheel. We'd been visiting various RV shows and dealers for over a year, and one day my husband said "let's go to the RV show". (The unsaid portion was ".....and buy our RV.". I thought we were just going to look some more.
We bought from Mike Thompson's (that's the Grand Design dealer here in So Cal). We were able to negotiate about 28% off the MSRP, and had a pretty good experience with the buying. Service at Mike Thompson's, however - not so good. But that's pretty normal, from what I read.
