Traveling with roof air vents open

Just curious. In this extremely hot weather, do folks travel with roof air vents open or closed?? I do not have covers on my Momentum G21, but wondered if traveling with them partially open was a good idea or not???

with covers, OK. Without, asking for trouble IMO. They aren't the most aerodynamic and tend to flutter in the wind a lot. I try to close mine, but often forget, but I run Maxxair 2 covers.

Like others, open all the time when towing. Also have them open when the camper is stored next to the house and a box fan running inside 24/7 for circulation and to prevent mold in our high humidity area.

Open also and we do have covers.
I like the idea above ^^ for using a box fan while stored in humid months.

Our bathroom vent is manually operated (without a cover) and a few times we haven’t cinched it closed tight enough before traveling and found it open when we arrived at our destination. I suppose a combination of vibrations and wind tends to pull it open. Hasn’t resulted in any damage though.

Thanks for all the great input! Sounds like covers are the answer. Our G21 is a '21 model, ordered from the factory. The dealer was supposed to install covers but failed to do so. Short time frame for an already planned trip when we took delivery. I need to take care of it! In west Texas a couple of weeks ago we had to sit in the car until the RV cooled down enough. 104 degrees and in the sun. AC couldn't handle the heat gain from the sun!

I had the same results with mine so they "should be" ok open without covers. However I added the covers to all 3 and I don't recall the last I closed them. At least when I bought the covers there was a large difference in prices for color, we wanted smoke but the black was about half the price, we have black.
