Difficult to operate grey tank valve
My 2016 Reflection 357BHS has two grey tanks. The valve for the rear tank is tight and difficult to open. The inputs to the tank are from the sinks in the kitchen and half bath. The valve does move a little easier after initial use on a trip but still feels tight. No issues with leaking.
The forward tank grey tank valve is much easier to operate.
Is there a way to lube the cable and valve blade without disassembly?
We use the RV 1-2 times a month.Jason and Liz

Use petroleum jelly on the seals. Not to sound gross, but use the rubber/nitrile gloves to grab a glob of the jelly and work it into the hole, open and close the valve until it is worked in.
Better than replacing the valve.

We are having a similar issue on one of our gray tanks, same one. I'm planning to replace it with an electrically-operated valve next spring.

Are you saying to apply the lube directly to the knife/seals?
I'm not sure I can do that in my case because the valve is inside the underbelly away from the outlet. I possibly could run a plumber snake up the pipe with some, but I'm not sure how effective that would be.Jason and Liz

Has anyone had good results from a safe product to pour into the tank?
Or has anyone had luck lubricating the cables?Jason and Liz
