    Front Jacks

Is there something special I should be using to lubricate the front jacks? I heard WD40 is not good, but wanted to see what others are using. Thanks

The front landing gear have Zerk fittings on either side on the Reflection fifth wheels. They're inside the front compartment and you'll need a grease gun with a flex tube fitting to get to them. I do mine regularly.

So it doesnt do any good to lube the outside of the lowering jacks on the front? Also, should I lube the rear jacks when they are down as well?

I think it is probably helpful to spray some silicone lube on them as L.C. said. The real stress/friction points are the gears in the top of the towers. I think there are two Zerk fittings on each side, if I recall.

Jeremy - keeping clean and using silicone as suggested by LC & (the other) Rob is what your Owners Manual states on page 81 as well: Here is the link to GDRV Owners Manual page: https://www.granddesignrv.com/owner-...owners-manuals

    3. Remove dirt and road debris from jacks as needed.
    4. If jacks are down for extended periods, it is recommended
to spray exposed leveling jack rods with a
silicone lubricant every three months for protection. If
the trailer is located in a salty environment, it is recommended
to spray the rods every 4-6 weeks.

Our Reflection was a 2016 built before they made auto-leveling standard. It had Ground Control 2.0 and the Ground Control 3.0 may be different since they have a motor on each leg.
