I have noticed what feels like the unit moving with a loud POP. It seems to occur only if I stay a few days or more. I have added the "anti-stiction" and made sure the hydraulic fluid was full (2 1/2 quarts low from factory). The slide worked much better. Back to the "popping". My guess is after moving about the trailer all day and it rocking back and forth the landing gear/stab jacks build tension that causes them "POP" back into place. I notice it mostly at night and it has scared the crap out of me. In the morning the trailer is still level. I use a wood pad with an aluminum plate.Click image for larger version.

You should try using Andersen buckets.
Then you only run your gear down so far and your trailer is much more stable.

I have looked at the buckets and it would seem they are the way to go. My problem is the $40+ each price tag

    I'm cheap too.

I bought a couple of ten-foot 2"X12" pressure-treated boards and cut them into almost-square 1-foot pieces. I put several under the front jacks and usually a couple under each of the rear jacks.

I lost a couple of them to splitting before I started alternating the grain as I stack them; none have split since. They ride in the truck bed when we're traveling, easily deployed when we stop.

    Total cost was about CDN$60.

I tried 2x12’s but they soaked up water like a sponge, weighed 3x as much as the buckets and ended up cracking.

If we weren’t full timers wood blocks would probably be a good idea, but the plastic buckets will far outlast wood and the weight savings is worth the money.

Same here. Carrying all that wood was getting heavy in my already close to GVWR 375. I bit the bullet and bought 6 of the red buckets and love using them, The magnets make it really easy to set them up. Well worth the investment as they will last forever.

Agree 100%.....while a bit pricey, these things are great. With the leg extensions not extended by the height of the bucket, trailer sets very stable.

I am thinking that maybe just getting 2 buckets for the landing gear as I like the magnets so I don't push the landing gear off the blocks. Did that once and the trailer just barley touched the bed.
