    If any of you regularly watch the Youtube channel for Chad and Tara (Changing LanesRV) they had the Anderson buckets for their 397 and they said that every single one of them ended up breaking. I would guess that they are probably at full GVWR or the trailer...or very close to it as they are full timers and it is their house.

    Hey Ed,
    Did you paint them black or did they come like that? If you painted them what kind of paint. Painting them with plastic paint would certainly help extend their life as it would help protect against UV damage immensely.

    Hey Kev
    I used a couple of coats of that thick Rustoleum bed liner paint.
    Wish I was smart enough to have done it for UV protection, that's a great idea!
    I just didn't like the bright Red. Now they blend in with everything else.

    I like the idea of painting them with the truck bed coating. Walmart has a 2 pak that I am thinking of buying.

    Are you guys using treated lumber? Treated, ground contact wood, should not absorb much if any water.
