Solitude exterior finish

Hello, new to the forum here. My wife & I went to the Jacksonville RV show last weekend and saw the Solitude fifthwheel. Very nice unit. We looked inside and the wife loved the "fit & finish" of it, and especially the pantry.

I looked all over the outside, but cannot remember if it has full body paint. Also one thing I was surprised by is the electrical hookup on the rear, one thing I really didn't care for. I was hoping for an electrical cord reel.

I understand the company is fairly new, and for those of you that have them, are you happy and what if anything would you want changed?

I have a Solitude 369RL and have had it a year now. I really love it. The only problem I had was I was not made aware of all options by the dealer and I would have liked the heat pump air conditioning system instead of the standard AC which is on my unit. Other than that I love my Solitude. I agree sometimes the electrical connection on the back can be a little bit of a long distance for the cord to run to the electrical boxes at the campground. I bought a 25' extension and have had to use it a few times but not many. My unit does have full graphics paint on it. I love the pantry and this fifth wheel has more storage than I have ever had in any other fifth wheel.

We have the 369RL and love it, but I would also like the 50amp cord on a reel. Having to roll that heavy cord up after laying on the ground during a rain can get pretty dirty, and naturally it gets all over you.

The front cap is paint, the sides and rear wall are colored gelcoat.

The graphics are vinyl.

Grand Design does not offer full body paint as an option...
