TCL TV will not find any channels
I'm on the road and pulled into a campground for the night. No cable, but they say they have 21 channels available via "AIR". Went to scan Channel, "AIR" Auto Scan with the booster on. TV found 65 RF CH but on "Total Found 0 (zero). The TV has worked in the past using this procedure.
Anyone have any suggestions?

"found 65" and "total found 0" might point to TV malfunction. You could try a reboot by unplugging and restarting the TV.

You can input the address here:'
https://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29
it will tell you the direction, where the station are exactly and how they are broadcasting. UHF is generally easier to get further out. VHF, much more difficult.
You can then dink around with the antenna knowing what direction you'll need to point and make sure the amp is on.
I've found the antenna on every RV we've had to be a mixed bag with OTA and that just about any aftermarket product performed much better.

I use antennaweb.org to find which way to point the antenna for maximum reception, then the TitanTV app to see a guide for channel programming. There have been a couple of times in our 3 years of FTing that the campground or site was in a hole and I couldn't get much. Typically, if you're within 30-40 miles or a large rcity you'll get 10-50 channels.

Make sure the antenna booster is on (if equipped).
I have to turn off the booster when a campground offers cable tv. I forget to turn it back on until I start scanning air channels. LOL

This was recently mentioned here on the forum for finding best antenna direction; https://www.amazon.com/KING-SL1000-S.../dp/B0045E3MHK I bought one and it works.

Did you switch the coax from the Cable jack to the OTA Antenna jack?

There are differences in tuners from brand to brand, and even within models and units themselves. It may be the tuner in the TV. We have one in the bedroom (a Haier 32D3000D) that picks up everything available. The Haier 48D3500C in the main living area won't pick up several channels with the same input signal at comparable levels. The 32D3000D in the garage gets all but one. I eventually want to replace them with some good Sony or other 4K.
As long as you have the booster set correctly, the cable plugged into the correct jack, and the TV set to on-air, then it should work. If not, may be a defective set.Editor - www.RamGunner.com and www.MomentumGunner.com
