    Reese Goose Box

We just ordered a 311BHS. Looking at hitches now. Is anyone using one of these pin boxes on a Reflection with a Ram 2500/3500 with the 6 ft 4 in bed. I like the idea of the GB due to the fact that i don't have to take a hitch in/out. On the farm I pull a goose neck seed cart, bobcat trailer etc, just make life a little easier. Second choice is the Andersen. Any feedback or pics would be appreciated.

Congratulations on the new rig. How far out is delivery?

I looked at a goose box pinbox on my last (first) fiver, but the clearance to the bed rails didn't impress me. Costwise, the Andersen and the turnover ball were slightly less expensive.

It seems like the only people that don't like the Andersen have never tried them.

Our dealer is going to delay the order until first part of December when he places his other orders for his stock. Said we should be looking at Feb or March delivery. We are in no hurry.

The bed rail clearance during a turn is my biggest concern. I have not been able to find a good pic or video.

I have a 350m , I have the same truck as you and I have the Reese Goosebox as well. No problems what so ever with towing, or clearance. I chose it for the very reason you mentioned: Also the truck is our daily driver so we didn't want to lose the use of the bed.

I have a 2017 Ram 3500 Mega cab with Ramboxes. I went with the Andersen rail mount version because I couldn't get factory puck system with ramboxes. It was very cost effective system compared to other systems. I picked up my new 28BH just a few days ago. With the ball in the highest position and the hitch adapter turned 180, I have all the clearance I need for cab, bed sides and tailgate. I'm very pleased with how it pulls and the ease of getting it in and out of my truck. If I needed, I could get the reese goose adapter plate for bed rails to pull a gooseneck trailer. I like the flexibility I have. Not sure if you already have a gooseneck ball in your truck but I wanted throw out there as another option.

I have the puck system and gooseneck ball in my truck. The GB would just make it easier not having to remove a hitch to hook to our other trailers. Although the lightweight of the Andersen probably would not be that big a deal.

Have the goose box also and love it. No clearance issue with my Ram 2500 6.4 reg bed. Also, used the Anderson & B&W turn-over but the goose box is my choice very happy with it.
