I don't do Paypal, is there another way to join?

I don't do PayPal either so I sent Chris a check.

You don't need a Paypal account - just click through, and you will get to a screen asking whether to use a Paypal account OR a debit/credit card. Paypal recognized that for a lot of reasons many won't use their services, so has become dual purpose - and now also acts as a normal credit card clearing house. In the latter services, I have not seen any cases where they then try to convince you to "update" to their service. It just goes through like a normal card transaction.
