Fresh water pump does not shutoff
The fresh water pump in my new Solitude 369rl does not shut off most of the time. When it does shutoff it does so only after running for an extended period of time (3-5) minutes. It acts like their is air in the system somewhere and the pump cannot bring up enough pressure to shut off. I have drained the system multiple times including the water heater and swapped the water pump with a spare I carry with me. I have also connected the spare pump to the external input and pumped water into the system from an external tank with the system in pressure mode. The spare pump would not shut off in that mode either. Any suggestions on what to try next would be appreciated. I am dry camping and the nearest GD dealer is more than 100 miles away so am trying to resolve this on my own before biting the bullet and driving to the dealer.

Re: Fresh water pump does not shutoff
Every time this happens to me it usually is a leak in the system, now I haven't used my Momentum yet, so I don't know on this line yet, but on my last TT I was trying to winterize it using the pump and one of my low point drains was just ever so slightly loose, it barely dripped and took me forever to find it and my pump was just a whirring away, as soon as I tightened it up, the pump built pressure and stopped running. HTH.

Did you check the valves in the basement, to make sue that they were all set in the proper positions? Wonder if a valve is not 100% seated and the water is leaking internally back to the holding tank? Sometimes it is the easy stuff we don't think of. Worth a shot.

Re: Fresh water pump does not shutoff
I've rechecked the valve positions and they are all correct and seated so I am still looking for the culprit.

Re: Fresh water pump does not shutoff
Are you getting decent pressure at the faucets? Is there any air coming out at the faucets?

Re: Fresh water pump does not shutoff
When I can get the pump to shut off the pressure is good at the faucets but there is air in the lines. It's acts like the fresh water tank is empty but it definetly has water in it.
