Re: Is there a difference
We chose the 303 because it fit our wants and needs list perfectly. We really like the double entry to the bath. The nightstands was high on our list as well. We have it all loaded, moved everything from our old 28 ft TT into it plus stuff out of the truck into the basement and still have plenty of room.
We also wanted to stay under 34 ft because we like to camp in state parks and forests and anything much longer can make that difficult to get into on many of the sites that would attract us.
Choosing the right trailer is such a personal choice of what is important to you, we all have different tastes.
If weight and length aren't an issue I'd suggest you go sit in each one for a long bit, poke around and get a feel for which would fit your selves the best. That way you aren't second guessing the choice.Marcy & Gary

Re: Is there a difference
Man you guys are great. We were hoping to find some help on this forum so we could make a good decision. We are going to check out both units at the RV show in Raleigh, NC (if the dealers have both units there). We currently have a TT but, we want more living space. I really appreciate your input.
What kind of leveling system does the 337 have?
Hey Gigem,
I notice you have a F250. How does it handle the 337? I have a 2012 Also.

Re: Is there a difference
Campins4us - There were not any Grand Design units at the fall RV show in Raleigh. We stayed at the fairgrounds campground - nice FHU but no bathhouse.
I checked online for dealer inventory, then planned a camping trip to see units.

Re: Is there a difference
I was wondering the same thing, glad the OP asked. Saw them both in person. Aside from the living space, (bath, kitchen, bedroom closet) are there any structural or similar concerns in the 337 vs 303? One reply mentioned 16" tires, I am not sure what the significance of this is (newbie). I also thought I read somewhere that the 337 has a 10" I beam vs. the 303 had 8". Would appreciate any input. Thanks for all the great info I've read so far.
PS FWIW besides the things already mentioned, we also noticed in the 337, the kitchen island is larger and has 3 extra drawers. Linen storage in bath. Dresser and larger closet with mirrored doors in Bedroom, along with (IMO) better TV placement. Bigger TV in Living area. With Queen bed IPO King, you get a little 5" Shelf. Not a nightstand, but something to put your stuff on.

Re: Is there a difference
Hiya 8AMPS...welcome to the forums.
Structurally, there's a difference between the axles. The 337 has 2 6000lb axles and the 303 has 2 5200lb.Renee & Bill -- Central Louisiana

2Hams-I noticed noticed Plemmons RV is now carrying GD. They are normally at the show in Raleigh. They have some on their website.
