    Awning

When your awning is retracted back to the side of the camper, how far is the head away from your sidewall ? Mine looks like it sets about 3" from the wall of the camper, like it should have come in further. I have no idea if you can adjust this or if it is normal.

Steve...does your awning arm stay out farther than this?

I'm not absolutely sure, Steve...electric awnings are new to me.

I went out and looked again. The outer awning arm nests over the inner arm mount. The outer arms are parallel to the inner arm mount (top to bottom) but the door end outer arm is almost 1/2" closer into the camper than the other end, which is the driven end. I don't know if it's adjustable. I think that the mounting of the head to the tube is slightly different one end to the other causing the awning to stop first at the idler end upon retraction...thinking of the tube as a cross-shaft. I don't think a 1/2" difference one end to the other is too big of a deal.

    Is yours worse than that?

Mine looks exactly like your picture Dave. I will check end to end after while and let you know what I find.
