Decals on end cap scratched up

The decals on my 313RLTS are shot. It was the only negative thing when I bought the trailer (used, 2016). It looks like the PO drove through a grove of trees; the decals on the top of the cap are pretty scratched up.

I'm thinking of taking it to a graphics shop and having a wrap put on the front, but don't know how well it will stand up to 60+ mph driving.

    Anybody ever done this?

The decals on our front cap are shot (we bought the rig new in 2015), but it's from sun cracking and not from hitting anything. If and when we decide to do anything about it, I'll probably have them removed and the front cap custom painted. Then again, my vanity quotient is rather low...

After we bought our 2016 303RLS used I noticed the decals on the top were cracked as the OP's was. I called GD and they sent a replacement set. I have not put them on but they are ready to go when I decide to.

That's great news. I'll give them a call. Thanks!

UPDATE: Well that didn't go as hoped. I called Customer Service, and they said I have to buy the replacement directly from the dealer.

Take some pictures of the decals and foward them to GD. They are not scratched but cracked. GD has sent replacement decals to many of us. 2015/2016 decals were defective in that regard.

I don’t know about 2016 models, but the 2017’s had a five year warranty on the decals. I don’t believe that covered labor though. If I remember correctly, GD changed their decal supplier.

^^^^^^^ I did and it didn't work at all (in addition to many other things.) My front decal is so baked from central Cal sun all day the adhesive has become like concrete or ceramic coating. I gave up. Those of you with white fronts may have better luck.

Getting the old decals off was covered on the forum a long time ago, but I can't find the thread. One tidbit of information I took away from it was that these 3M eraser wheels are the way to go for removing the old hard baked decals.

Just FYI, I tried the 3m wheel also. In my case, the rub (pun intended) was it started to damage the adjacent clear coat/black paint before removing the adhesive.
