I have a 2018 303, but haven't had a chance to hook up my camera yet. Just out of curiosity, what wire was yours hooked up to?

I got my problem solved today. It was a rookie mistake on my part I had the battery disconnect turned off. With that on, the camera worked just fine. I found out the camera is correctly linked in to a main power wire and not the running lights. All you need to do is remove the 4 screws in the cover and plug in the camera and reattach the screws. The camera should automatically pair up with the monitor. Just leave your battery disconnect in the on position when traveling. Enjoy your 303.

Is there a downside to using the battery disconnect as an "on/off" switch for the camera? Leave it on while you're traveling and turn it off while camping. If you're hooked up to shore power, the converter supplies the 12VDC required by the camper. I'm not sure if the battery would charge with the disconnect switch off though. Is there anything else that runs on 12VDC that is supplied by the converter?

I think you need the 12V battery for the slides. They don't run off the convertor. You could check that by trying the slide with the batts off. Also why would you want to not have your batts charging while on 120V?

The switch would be on during travel & setup. I would not turn switch off until after setup is complete (slides). It's not that I don't want it charging (if that's the case), just not sure it needs to be with no draw on the battery while connected to shore power.

I'm not an electrician but from what I gather from reading this forum is that their are a lot of items in the trailer that run off of the battery. Even when plugged into shore power. In that case with the battery switch turned off and the inverter not charging, your battery will get run down and things will quit working.
