Dowdy Lake in Colorado (and golf)
Spent 3 days at Dowdy Lake Campground in Colorado last week. It's a really nice campground on the lake with beauty, privacy and quiet. The lake is small, but great. It's no wake. There were a lot of canoes, kayaks and paddle boards. We drove to Fox Acres on Monday and Tuesday to play golf. The golf course is one of the most beautiful I've played. Lots of great views and the fairways were nice and green. The greens are tough for two reasons. They are very not flat and there has been a lot of winter kill. Also, I didn't play out of a single sand trap. They were more like gravel pits so I dropped out. So putting was tough, but I didn't need a sand game. I recommend Dowdy Lake and Fox Acres.
