    Water filter

Just wondering what filter everyone is using in the whole-house water filter system.

I am using the inline type you can buy at Camping World or Wally World, about $20. Replace them every season, I have no problems with these. Tip, if you use these run water through it without the hose for a couple of seconds to clear them out. I had the factory whole house type in my previous fifth wheel, I done away with it after 1 year, much easier to winterize without the hassle.

We use the inline one too. I think it's made by Camco and it's blue. It seems to do a good job and like Glazier it's replaced once a year.

We used the Camco blue inline ones for a year or two but found that some water supplies would cause them to slowly clog. I bought a large under-sink unit from Home Depot for about $30 and installed it in the cold water line to the kitchen sink and have been very happy with that for making coffee and it looks like it's going to last a long time since it doesn't have to filter all the shower and other water.
We are getting tired of fighting the hard water deposits in the shower and are thinking of buying a water softener- does anybody have suggestions on that?
    Thanks
