Re: Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
I am looking also.
Has anyone had a tire failure while running with a TPMS?
I have seen good reviews on the TST 507RV with flow thru sensors. Any disagreements?
Thanks in advance for input.

Re: Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
I have the old style TST system, and it has worked great. I'm sure the new version would be just as good.

Re: Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
I've had a TST 507 system with flow-thru sensors for the last year with our old 5er...definitely reduced the anxiety when towing and constantly checking the mirrors for exploding tires! I even put the sensors on the new camper before towing it home from the dealer. I fortunately haven't had a blowout while towing. I'm hoping that the system will give enough advance warning to prevent anything too damaging.

Re: Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
We have the TST 507 with the non-flow through sensors. Works great, but I would definitely go with the flow through sensors if I were you.

Re: Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
I just bought the TST 507 system recommended by many people on this forum and they work great. I am really pleased with how accurate they are and this will provide peace of mind while I drive to the Grand Canyon from Virginia.

Re: Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
Regarding the TST507 system. I believe I'll get one of these. Do most of you just get four sensors? Any suggestions on a good source of supply?

Re: Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems
I do believe the manufacturer (TST) is having a sale this month with call-in orders. We are planning on getting a system for our new Reflection when it arrives in Denver! I also may upgrade the tires right away, a great time to install flow through sensors!

I only got sensors for the camper as the truck already has a TPMS on it. I think you'll find the pricing direct for TST as good as anywhere. You may not need the signal repeater that they suggest...I didn't have it on the tow home from the dealer and the sensors were monitoring just fine.
