Did you screw it to the plywood flooring only or did you attach to the floor joist system with a longer fastener......or both? I'm trying to find ideas for securing an 800lb motorcycle that requires tie-down points spaced differently than factory. Optimally I would like E-track along the walls and one strip in the center.

I personally would not attach anything heavy to a wall.
There are a lot of guys on this Forum that have big bikes and I'm sure some very creative ways of securing them. You may want to start a thread asking how they do it. You may also find some existing threads using the search function.Jim (& Sharon)

This is what I did to store the ladders in my 399. Works great. Used Mini Quick Fist mounting clamps and a #10 screw in each one.

Outstanding. Did you find something substantive above the ceiling material for the screws or is it hollow? I know the loft is above.

If you push up on the ceiling you can feel where the wood studs are located. I drilled and screwed into those.
