There has to be a leak somewhere if the pump keeps cycling - unless the pressure sensing switch in the pump is bad and it keeps trying to pump into a load. A very short pump cycle (one-time only) on a cold night after showers (think lying in bed just drifting off) can happen due to things cooling down in the water lines.

My pump only cycles when I use it. It never runs constantly when we are using water. It’s like a second on & a second off. I’m wondering if I have an incorrect pressure on the pump, need an accumulator or if it’s something else. Any ideas?

That's perfectly normal. That means the pump is more than adequate to keep up with the demand. If you opened up both sink faucets, the shower faucet, and maybe the toilet at the same time, it would run continuously.

Rob. Thanks. My bathroom faucet is one of those waterfall types with very low volume even on a high pressure water hookup so maybe that’s part of the problem. Maybe Grand Design installs a pump capable of a high flow rate. Does your pump run in a rapid cycle like I described? Thanks for such a quick reply!

Does you hot water heater drip? If the release valve on the HWH doesn't seal tight and you get some dripping then you water pump will cycle a little.

How often do you hear it cycle?

Ours cycles perhaps once per second. I only open the bathroom faucet part way - I replaced the waterfall faucet with one we like better and it has a higher flow rate of fully open.

New 303RLS owners here. On our first extended trip. Pump runs and will not turn off. Water pressure fine at all outlets. No visible leaks inside or outside of trailer. We have four nights coming up with no hookups and no time to find a repair shop (in Montana). Any ideas or suggestions? Worst case could we just turn the pump on only when needing water. Is that a bad idea? Should we ditch the dry camping and try to find someplace with hookups?

Either way you camp you will have the same issue. There is an air/water leak someplace in your trailer. Remove the access wall in your basement and check the water pump and distribution panel as well as any water lines for leaks. If no leaks, check under the sinks as well.
It could all boil down to a faulty pump. But checking for leaks is the first step
