    Hydraulic jacks slowly settle

The jacks on the right side slowly recede over a several day period leaving the RV lower on that side. It is s lippert 6 point system. Any suggestions?

The valves are in the front compartment above the battery. How do you know which way to turn them to tighten? Scared I will turn them the wrong way.

I think most of them turn clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen. If you turn one wrong way, it will only loose pressure, tighten it and relevel

Also check your hydraulic fluid level, see the manual for proper checking.

The owners manual that came with my unit does a very good job of explaining what position the valves should be in.
The only way a landing pad can move is if: There is an internal leak in a valve or cylinder (either a failure or not in the correct position), there is an external leak in a hose fitting or there is air in the system.
I would be willing to bet one of the manual valves is not in the correct position.
You will need a 5/32" hex wrench.
Typically all valves, particularly B & C, need to be closed.
With the hex wrench rotate the valve counterclockwise until they are snug.
    Do NOT over tighten.
If in doubt call Grand Design.

thanks for the responses. I have checked the fluid. it is fine. must be the valves. I will see if I can get them tight. I had read to turn them counter clockwise. however the valves seem to be installed in opposite directions from each other. one set on top of the other. therefore I could not determine which set was the one to turn counter clockwise and the other would be clockwise. if turning one the wrong way will not cause a problem that gives me a little confidence to check them. I presume that if I turn one the correct way it will only turn very little if it is not tight. and I should know if I turn it the wrong way because it will turn way more than you would expect if only loose?

My 369RL "loses pressure" on the kitchen side jacks. I had the dealer check them, but of course they still lose pressure. Everyday I have to go out and hit the button to re-firm them up. Then the auto re-hitch function does not work as you have changed the settings since unhooking and auto leveling... very frustrating. I too will check the valves. I checked the couplings, but not the nuts at the bottom of the valves.

As a foot note, the valves marked E & F in the picture (with the finger knobs), are the slide control valves for the living area. When we are planning to eat on the road, we close "F" and then we can open just the dinning room slide, on the side of the road. Since we can access the right fridge door, we load lunch meat and stuff on the right side. Then when we stop, we can retrieve our fixins, fix our meal, and sit at the table and eat.

Wish we could independently open all three slides from the control panel in the hall, but it is what it is. We had to close valves on our Cedar Creek also, so we are use to it and plan accordingly.
