    Fresh Water Fill

I am having trouble finding photos of where you fill the fresh water tank on the 337. Do you have to fill it through the city water hook-up? We sometimes dry camp and take extra 7 gallon jugs with us and I am wondering if I will need to figure out a 12v pump to add additional water.

Welcome Jim & Cal! I'm still waiting on delivery of my unit which is scheduled for next week. I'd like to see the answer to the question because we dry camp also.

    Re: Fresh Water Fill

I haven't tried it myself as the camper is still winterized, but this is how I understand you gravity fill the FW tank from jerry cans.

You'll need a short length of hose connected to the city water connection and the other end in the jerry can. Set the Kantleak valve to 'Sanitize/Winterize' and the Fresh Tank Access switch to 'Open'...doesn't matter if the Kantleak valve for the WH is 'Bypass' or Normal'...your choice whether you want the WH full or not. Switch on the water pump and it's suction will draw the water from the container into the fresh water tank.

If you want to sanitize the FW tank, you'd draw the bleach solution into the tank the same way.

Once the fresh water tank is full, switch the Kantleak valve to 'Normal', and the Fresh Tank Access to 'Shut' and switch the FW pump on to meet your fresh water needs.

I'm betting transferring the jerry can will be much slower than pouring them into a old style gravity fill connection.

You are correct Dave. The system used makes Winterizing a easy chore, I really like it.

I just got back from the dealer and he described it exactly as Happy Camper did, boy things have changed in eleven years! With my Laredo I would mix the bleach solution in a small bottle and pour it into the gravity fill.

Hope you're planning on sanitizing the FW tank after emptying your bladder in it! ;D
