Question when hooked to 110v with battery switch on

Quick question? I hooked my trailer adapted down to 110v to keep battery charged as most people do. When I turned my battery switch on it sounds like I have a heater on in the basement area but nothing is on? Tank heater switches off, zone 1-2 off, furnace off nothing switched on. What is blowing sounds like a heater? Any ideas?

I think you may be describing the fan noise from the converter...think it's right behind the power center.

The convertor fan noise is normal...I guess the question is if it is excessive. I can definitely hear the cooling fan running, but have to be close to the power center to hear it...may be less than 10 feet.

Try this little experiement. When you hear the noise, start shutting down lights, the fireplace, and anything else that is drawing current. See if the noise gets quieter. My guess is that it will. This is a normal noise.
