I seem to be having problems posting and replying. Not all the time, just sometimes and I don't know what I'm doing differently. Also, what is the difference between having paid membership vs a free membership.

Tumbleweeds, I think you have encountered some of the problems with being a Registered Guest (free membership). With a paid membership (Site Sponsor), you get full access to all functions of the forum. I'm learning this new Forum, but it looks like a Moderator, that's me, has to validate post and threads that Registered Guest post and reply to. I know it may seem that I'm on here 24/7, but I'm not, so, it may be awhile before a Registered Guest posts show up. A Site Sponsor doesn't have to go through that.

The reason for Chris having Site Sponsors (paid membership) is so we don't have to have advertisement on the forum to help pay for all the expenses that go along with running a website/forum. That's the reason the Site Sponsors have full access to the forum, you get what you pay for!

Twelve bucks is really cheap compared to some of the forums I've been a member of. I've paid as high as $35 per year on one of the forums I was a member.

    Steve,
I did not know there was a 2 levels of membership (guest/paid). Is this why I cannot download a fellow member's file, such as, a jpg?

Found out there is a recurring annual charge to my paypal for the membership here - brought it up before since I prefer to have a choice of whether to extend another year. Was this ever fixed?

    Thanks
