No Sleep -- sleeper sofa.
Has anyone else spent a night on the Reflection Sleeper sofa? What an horrible experience. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. What have you done any thing to try and make this thing more comfortable? I am thinking maybe a 3 inch memory foam mattress topper might help -- I doubt it but it might. Gawd, what an awful night.

Hi Dean and Cindy:
Sorry about your uncomfortable night sleeping on our sofa bed. I will forward your post to Micah Staley and make sure he looks into it. I understand your frustration. I still have bad thoughts about sleeping on my in-laws home sofa bed. The metal bar killed my back. Thanks again for your input. We will look into this for future production possibilities.
Regards,
Bill Fenech

I'm not sure. But if it is, try some mods and let me now if any work. That is the most uncomfortable thing I have ever spent two hours on! The rest was spent on the theater seats. Well....maybe I overstated it a bit. I guess a slab of concrete might have been worse.

I think they are pretty good as far as sleeper sofas go....
The foam is much better than the air mattresses that leak, and less hassle to make up.
Do you normally sleep on a soft mattress? Bad back? I would try a foam topper to see if it helps.
Problem is, if it were nice and soft, everyone would complain that the sofa cushions are flat after a year...Steve- Inventory Manager at Tom Schaeffer's RV, Shoemakersville, PA www.tomschaeffers.com

Yeah....kinda thought it would be an individual thing. I usually sleep on a super firm mattress and the king size mattress in the bedroom is a superb. I am going to try the memory foam topper, but honestly, that thing looks good but it is a back breaker.

The short test I gave ours it felt like you were on a slant towards the rear window, but if you lay with your head the other way it seemed ok. We'll have a guest sleeping on it in June so that's when I'll get the full in use review.

Our daughter and grandson stayed with us on the third night of our shakedown cruise of our 303. They both slept on the sofa bed, I asked if they were comfortable through the night and of course my grandson (11 years old) would be comfortable and could sleep on a rock, but my daughter (39) aid that she had no issues and sly ok. Sorry to hear about your problem. After reading WBs post I remembered that is exactly what my daughter told me, it felt as though she was tilted towards the back of the rv.

I had the opportunity to sleep on the sofa bed for three nights recently when I had a friend and some grandchildren visiting. I agree, and noticed before I signed the agreement mentioning something to the salesman about the "slope". I am 6' - 200 lb and sleeping with my head in the reverse position was not an option. I also noticed the metal bar at the foot, which would have been uncomfortable. I chose to put down a VERY thick quilt that was doubled, then a sleeping bag opened up. I also used two pillows and slept reasonably well. I wouldn't want to sleep like that every night for sure! I hope they come up with another alternative for future rigs, but I am not sure what that would be. I do think a more roomy couch/sofa (wider/deeper) may help, but I guess that would call for more space and weight.
