How do you handle warranty issues if your dealer is not local?
I am negotiating with several dealers for our 337RLS and some are out of state. Several folks have recommend finding the best price no matter where the dealer is. I'm ok with this and, in fact, have purchased my last two trucks out of state this way. How do you handle warranty issues on the RV if it is impractical to take the unit back to the dealer? I suppose full-timers would have to deal with this as well.

GDRV will frequently allow you to use a mobile RV tech for warranty repairs. You will need to call customer service for pre approval. Also, you'll typically need to pay the mobile tech's service call fee yourself. But it's not normally a large fee.

We will be in this position as well. Is there any way of finding reputable mobile RV techs in a particular area?

Good information, thanks. I did a quick check and there are more mobile RV services in our area than I expected. Jim, a useful website, it echoed what I suspected about a few dealers in my area and I think it willbe a good resource when we are away from home.

Grand Design is very pro-active in helping you get warranty issues addressed.
We are full time and I had our 376TH to three different dealerships for warranty replacements. They are quick to address warranty issues and dealerships will get you in quickly for warranty replacements but it seems like they drag on things that we've requested and are paying for.SOLD my 2017 Momentum 376TH being pulled by a 2014 Ford F-350 Lariat, FX-4, Crew Cab, Longbed, Dually. Not pulling the 5er, catch me on my 2013 CVO Harley Ultra Classic.
