It might help if you listed the model/year of your rig and what settings are available on your thermostat. But I'll take a stab at this question....

There is the option for furnace heat (gas) and depending on what you have electric heat (from the heat pump (air conditioner)).

On my rig I can select Heat Gas or Heat Electric. And neither have and option for controlling the fan. The fan comes on immediately when the thermostat calls for heat from either the heat pump or furnace and heat flows either from the heat pump ducting (ceiling) or furnace ducting (floors).

Which heat mode are you trying to use?
I am having the same issue. I have a 2021 Transcend 261BH. I do not know if I have the Heat/Gas or Heat/Electric option. Where would I find that?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Transcends don’t have heat pumps

Your heat comes from your gas furnace only

Stupid question... does my AC also work as a heat pump? It sounds like most of you have one that functions that way. I don’t see electric heat when circulating through the thermostat and no controls on the unit. 2021 303RLS with Coleman Mach (?). Thanks.

AC/heat pump combo is an option and not standard. One Coleman unit on my Solitude is a heat pump. Thermostat has heat elec option. Works great, and if the temperature differential is too high for the heat pump to work effectively, the thermostat automatically turns on the furnace. When that happens, the thermostat will say heat elec furn, so both are displayed.

You will only have 1 zone for furnace. That is the main zone and that furnace is ducted throughout the entire unit. Other zones with be AC only. It's weird but pretty standard.

The little panel I'd need more information on, photo would help.

Yes, should be able to attach a photo, unless there are forum restrictions that apply I'm unaware of.
