337RLS Delivery Tomorrow!!
We have an appointment at 8:00am to trade in our old Keystone Cougar and pick up our new 337RLS! We purchased the Cougar in 2007 and used it several times a year for weekend jaunts and two week vacations. The farthest we ever took it was to Yellowstone and Mt. Rushmore.
The number one reason we're switching brands is because of the reputation for quality that Grand Design has built. The Cougar was a case study in poorly built RVs. It was a rare event to take a trip where we didn't have something break. I should have known of the problems we'd encounter when it took nine weeks to repair the issues that were found in the PDI. From slides, to landing gear, everything seemed to have failed at one time or another. Sometimes multiple times. But now it's time to move on to Grand Design.
We're not going to wait. We will head home tomorrow afternoon, load up and spend three days on the road to Lake Roosevelt in Arizona to do a shake down. If all goes well, we have a couple of short trips planned in April and May, then a four month, 10,000 mile excursion starting in June! We need a reliable, quality built RV now that we're retired, and from all of our research, Grand Design fits the bill.

Good luck with your delivery tomorrow, we have to wait for our 337 until mid April at the earliest.
We have had a Keystone Laredo for 9 years and have had zero problems other that the normal stuff like tires and suspension and of course brakes. I guess we have been lucky and I am grateful that we have not had the problems that quite a few people have had. I wish you nothing but the best with your new camper.

Hope you had a good experience and are now on your shakedown cruise. Post pictures and let us know how it went.
We had a Keystone Laredo for 6 years and had pretty good luck. Fortunately my husband is pretty handy so replacing a GFI circuit or resealing a window is not too bad a job. We had one trip that ended up being nothing but repairs. I figure we were lucky to get the 35K miles out of it, and fortunate to trade before the leaks that seemed to be starting got worse.

Congrats on the rv. I'm sure based on our experience all will go great. We have had our 303 out once for four nights and everything worked perfect. We will be heading out to La Conner Wa in a week for the annual tulip festival. This is about 2K round trip. If that goes well we will be making reservations for the rally in September. One question, is anyone else from CA planning on attending?

Hope your delivery went smoothly Jim.
Bbirds, it wasn't long ago I had to wait for ours due to weather. Hopefully this was the last dumping of snow for this winter that will not die.
