Cool Clearance Light Lenses Falling Off

We've had some below freezing weather and one of my clearance light lenses just fell off onto the ground. When I try to put it back on it doesn't seem to have much to hold it on. Is there a way to put some sealant on these so they don't all fall off?

I’ve seen clearance lights come from factory with sealant on them, even though my side lenses have none. I would place some sealant where the lense makes contact with the body of the mechanism, or where it touches the trailer, then if necessary, add a thin line on top like some come. You should be able to remove the lense later if necessary by removing the sealant. There is a rv sealant that people recommend that is flexible. I bought some but haven’t had a reason to use it yet.

Check the sealant directions though to see what temperature needs are though for application.

Edit: just found this on another forum regarding the Pro Flex

Pro Flex® RV Flexible Sealant is specifically designed for the recreational vehicle industry. It can be exposed to adverse weather conditions right after application. Pro Flex® RV Sealant has excellent expansion and contraction properties to withstand the joint movement and temperature changes associated with recreational vehicles. It bonds to many recreational vehicle materials, even damp, slightly oily, or frozen surfaces.

I've lost two amber lenses from different locations, two different trips. It was well above freezing when I lost mine.
I suspect some clear silicone in a few spots would help.
    From etrailer.com - Amber = A32AB, Red = A32RB each about $3.90
