We have a 2020 Solitude 377MBS-R and have the same Furrion stove issue. I had a heat diffuser (simmer ring) from our last 5th wheel, and that helps a little bit, but it still doesn't diffuse enough heat to give a good simmer, even with the big 12-quart pot of soup we made yesterday. The service manager at the dealership worked with GD to replace the cooktop, but that didn't fix the issue.
We have an additional problem that I haven't seen mentioned before: when the burner is set a little bit less than half or lower, and you light the oven, the burner goes out. In fact, you don't even have to fully light the oven, just the pilot light will kill the burner. This happened with the original and the replacement cooktops. The service manager at the dealership continues to work with GD on a solution and we're waiting to hear back. It feels like a regulator or pressure issue of some kind. Has anybody else seen this?Last edited by rtmackes; 10-21-2020 at 03:46 PM.
