Our Grand Design Factory Tour Over Holidays

A big "Thank You" to Grand Design for the way we were greeted, treated and escorted around the facility for our factory tour over the xmas holidays. Very impressive! Also "Thank You" to Bill Martin for taking the time to meet with us prior to the tour.

I must say we were surprised by all the activity in the RV manufacturing area of northern Indiana even at the Holiday period. My Wife and I grew up in Kokomo Indiana, just south of Middlebury and had visited the Rv manufacturing area of Indiana in the past, back in the 1980s -90s . It has really grown up there! Great for Indiana for this industry to be thriving where the auto industry has been declining.

Our tour guides were very attentive and informative.
Yeah, I took the opportunity to poke them a little about the axle seal problems, advertised weight ratings and the 4 seasons package of our Imagine 2950RL. They were candid with their answers and impressed me with their willingness to talk about it and their dedication to addressing issues. They were also quite well informed about the GD Owners Forum and the conversations taking place here.

Also "Thank You" for the safety vests. They will come in handy if ever we have an emergency along the road somewhere.
