Sounds like fun! We plan to go full time after I return from Korea after a year. Good luck with the sale.

Get ready. Our house sold in two weeks. It didn't give us a lot of time to get ready to hit the road. You are about to start a great adventure.

We have had many yard sales summer, fall etc. Also Craigslist and using the Letgo app has helped. We are still working on selling, cleanup etc.

I will be bored after all this craziness! Have a showing already.....think I will miss my pellet stove though.

We did garage sales every other weekend for 3 months. The funny part was a neighbor who always kept his garage pristine. He would laugh at my cluttered garage, all the tools and toys I had stored there. Of course we couldn't get all that into an RV, so it had to go.

We sold lots of good stuff and really ridiculous prices. My neighbor would come over and be aghast at how low the prices were on stuff. He told me often "You should ask a lot more for that, it's worth at least 3 times what you are asking." I would always respond, it's gotta go, we can't take it with us, I don't have the time to find the right buyer, I just want it gone.

As we were packing up the 5th wheel for our full timing departure I was sweeping out the garage. It was pristine. No clutter, no tools or toys crowding the shelves. I went over to say goodbye to my neighbor. I took him a fine bottle of Scotch and an ad for some garage storage shelves. His garage was very cluttered with tools and toys laying every which way.

He was my best garage sale customer. He was there at every sale. He just couldn't pass up all the great bargains.
