    Is there a difference?

I have always heard that satellites uses a different type cable than the a cable hook up. Inside the compartment there is a separate connection for each cable/satellite connections. Yet only one in the compartment near the TV where your TV receiver goes for satellite. What am I missing or is one coax cable good for both. Have I been misled??

My satellite receiver (Dish VIP 211Z) has an RG6 input, but either RCA jacks or HDMI output. However, the Reflection only has RG6 between the upper cabinet and the TV, which will NOT work in my case. I tried unsuccessfully to fish a HDMI cable between the cabinets. Right now, I'm just running the HDMI out of the cabinet door to the TV. I guess I'll have to tear into the cabinets to do it right.
