Be aware that RV's have small 8-10 gallon water heaters. You may want to look into replacing the water heater with a tankless demand water heater.

With a water saver shower head and the water heater running on both propane and electric at the same time, the supply of hot water becomes continuous from our original 6 gal Atwood water heater.

^^^^^That's been our experience also. Lots more hot water than the 12 gallon unit we had on our boat. Give it a try before making spendy changes. The original setup may work for you too.

Hi Bubblehead, sorry to just now just on this blog. I recently bought a 2016 328M. The online documentation says I have one grey tank. There is one pull valve on the Nautilus system in the pass through. However, on the level readout in the RV the second grey tank was reading full (4 lights). Also, the kitchen sink would barely drain. I am guessing there is a second pull valve somewhere but I haven't found it. Do you have a picture of the location of your second pull valve?

Mine has 3 grey tanks, bathroom, kitchen and laundry.
I would xconnect them if I needed, but I just empty 1 at a time.
I have installed the extra gate valve on the end of my pipe connection and use it for isolation in case of a tank valve failure.

My 381M has 2 grey tanks with a single pull for them both. The main Grey is for the kitchen and master bath. The 2nd Grey is ONLY for the washing machine drain in the garage. The 1/2 bath sink and toilet go into the 2nd black tank. I have separate gauges for the grey tanks, but mine "never equalize" and I was told only meet so to speak for discharge... Since I do not have a washer and dryer, the 2nd grey is not really used in my rig.

    Hi,
It’s located behind the left (curb side) rear wheel near the aux (second) fresh water tank. Mine did not have a handle on it when purchased, it was just a cable sticking out with a threaded end for a handle. If you don’t have a handle on it, pull with vice grips to empty, then go buy a handle. Good luck.

i think you are mistaken.you actually have 2 blacks. the half bath, washer, and probably kitchen sink for one of them. the main bath gets its own black for the toilet.and the shower goes into the only grey. what you describe as two greys with a single pull, but seperate gauges is impossible..
