Add a hand sprayer to toilet?

Current trailer has a hand sprayer attached to it, very handy to rinse the bowl with. Noticed the 303 does not have such a device. Would be a simple matter to install one, it connects via the vacuum breaker at the back of the toilet. Anybody changed out this connector to do this? I just replaced my connector due to it breaking, it can be trying to get out due to closeness to wall. Finally had to remove toilet, then it was easy.

    Thanks,
    Don

    Check the toilet you have....

Should be a hook up for a sprayer on already. Just have to cut the tip off the flange and push the hose on and tighten the clamp.

(That is, if the Reflection uses the same toilet as the Solitude, which I think it does)

Would this flange you speak of be where the water connects to the inlet at the foot pedal, or would it be on the vacuum breaker at the back of the toilet? My current sprayer connects via the vacuum breaker. Don't have the trailer just yet, pick it up at dealer on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week.

I think it's a Thetford Aqua Magic Style II in our Reflection. You can see how the optional water saver/toilet rinser would be hooked up on the following link... http://www.thetford.com/HOME/PARTS/P...2/Default.aspx The water saver hose is clamped onto the barb of the vacuum breaker after the tip of the barb has been cut off. I've hooked up one on a Aqua Magic V the same way.

Yep, it goes onto the barb at the valve behind the bowl.

Just snip the barb and hook up the hose.

Is there any reason that a replacement sprayer from Home Depot or Lowes wouldn't work?? Has to be much less $$ than the $39.99 from Thetford. It's even $39 on Amazon!

That's what I installed on our previous camper...and mounted it with a holder taken from the outside shower.

Do you still need the vacuum breaker connector for the Thetford toilet if using the outside sprayer from the shower?
Does it work on al thetford toilets? I have to check the one in my Solitude.
