    Just an update...
These locks are still working perfectly but the black paint wore off long ago and now they’re just aluminum. If I had to give a negative, it would be the fact that if it’s even a little dark out, I can’t see the numbers to unlock them and shining a flashlight on them doesn’t help much because they’re kind of shiny now and it just reflects the light. I guess a key would be just as tough though.

Is there a way to repaint them? Use a hard sponge brush to just get the surface but not the numbers. Possibly use Rustolium from a rattle can. Just spray a bit in the cap and use the foam brush to apply.

Good idea. We’re actually painting the kitchen cabinets right now so I might dab some on.

I can only post a couple since I am no longer a site sponsor, but I will be posting a ton of photos along with a write up on my blog.
I’ll send you a PM when we’re done.

You have a 220RK as well, don’t you?
