I'm still a little mad that my campground will not allow my pit bull or rottweiler to camp with us.
There's a kennel close by, however.
I bet the 2 black bear families that hunt for food nightly wouldn't be around if the campground had resident dogs.

We travel with the three critters listed in our signature and shown in our Avatar.
Gracie is a four year old 8 lb rescue cat. (But don't tell her . . . She is pretty sure she is a puppy)
Molly (sable) and Angel (black & white) are two year old Collie/Border Collie littermate sisters.
Chasing balls is a favourite occupation for these two

For those of you that camp with cats - did you start camping with them as adult cats or when they were kittens? I can't imagine taking Booger with us - I'm afraid she'd wander off if we let her out (she has 5 acres here to prowl around).

Here are our two: Fig and Magnolia. They are Cairn Terror's and what a better place for a picture than on a cairn.

I travel with my mom frequently and we bring her dog with us. He is a great traveling companion and absolutely loves camping.

Gracie has always been with dogs since we adopted her at one year old (we had other border collies before the current two) . . . thus, she acts like a puppy. She is basically an indoor cat, but goes for walks with the dogs, on her own leash.
She travels in her crate in the truck and of course, has the run of the trailer when camping.
She has gotten out a few times, but does not stray far from her dogs.
