Personally I do not like folks that have their clearance lights on in the evening, especially the front LED some units have. If I am out camping and sitting by the fire I want to be able to see the stars and if the unit next door has lights on it makes viewing more difficult. We have too much light pollution as it is. If you want to do this, fine, but ask your neighbors first.

But it's a nice to know if ever you are stuck on the side of the road IMHO.

True - but I have a better solution for that. Just finished up a project to add reverse lightning that can be manually turned on. The thread is over at the other place.

I totally agree with this. We too like to sit outside at night in the dark. Last trip our neighbor had yellow convince lights for his hookups that were blinding. The next day we asked him if he would turn them off, which he did. Having lights on shinning in your neighbors area is just not proper camping etiquette.

There are plenty of other solutions you could come up with that would give you lights in your area without affecting your neighbors.
