    Marker lights on while camping?

Now I’m not talking all night, but while a fire is going and we are hanging out in the evening. Has any rigged their Imagine to where you can do this while parked and on 30amp? If so how?

    Thanks.

It's fairly easy to do. Run a jumper wire from pin 3 of your trailer umbilical to one side of a 15amp fuse. Run another jumper wire from the other side of the fuse to pin 4 of your umbilical wire. This will illuminate the tail and running lights on the trailer. Here's a diagram of the connector so you know which ones are pins 3 & 4. Another interesting trick is to insert a turn signal flasher between these two umbilical sockets and the same lights will start flashing.

Haha flashing. I think it’d make me dizzy.

    Thank you.

Yes, a simple two pronge auto relay will let your marker lights flash for as long as you like. We have been doing this for years on Halloween weekends.

Really good stuff...Thanks. I wonder if you could put enough twist in an auto fuse so that it could just plug in?

I’ll probably do a simple pin switch and fuse in the jumper.

I can see where the running lights can provide night light in and around the RV. I might just run a fused jumper wire from the RV battery to the running lights. I am assuming there is a common ground path. Also what I would like to do is connect the side RV marker lights to the turn signals so if someone is coming up beside you they can see the side marker light blinking as well as the rear turn signal.

Just take a 10A ATC fuse and bend the leads a tiny bit with pliers and it will slip into the 7-pin plug to turn the marker lights on.

I made a jumper but love the fuse idea. Thanks!
