Thanks Ben. I got that far (fixture lowered, lens unscrewed), but now what? Is the SMD board with the LEDs what gets replaced? Any idea what the part number is?

I tried searching for 3W5730, the only part number I see, but to no avail.

I like that, and also thought about doing a similar array inside the control panel door. If you're watching a movie, at night, with most of the lights off, and need to turn on a light, you almost need a flashlight to see the switches. I'll get both the pantry and control panel done and post some pics...

Consider red LED light strips, they light up an area well and are easier on your eyes

I would like to start this discussion back up, Just got a Reflection 27RL with the LED lighting in it and to me I feel the lighting is to cool. I would like to replace in some of the spots where the lights will be used more to a warmer LED. I don't have to manual on me, but are the bulb types listed or do I have to pull the to get the part #

    Hi Eaglehead,

I have been wanting to add an LED strip in the pantry as you have. Any suggestions, e.g. where did you pick up the 12Volts?

    Thanks

    Tom,

I did a very similar install in my 313. I bought everything from Amazon.

You can check out my install at http://www.mygrandrv.com/for...ion-313RLTS-TT

    Dave,

Very nice modification on the 313. Did you take the 12 volts from the existing light fixture?

I connected to power before the fixture, so both could be used independently.

    Dave,

I also noted in your original posting that you wired to the light strip using some old power supplies from various PC accessories. Is it not possible just to wire the 12 volt feed directly to the light strip or is it necessary to have additional power supply.

I was just thinking of coming directly off the existing light switch but after reading your post I am having second thoughts?

I took power from the OE 12V feed to the OE overhead light. From there to a magnetic switch on the door frame (upper right in the picture). Then, back to the OE overhead light (with an new LED bulb) and to a new LED light under each shelf. Wiring is all tucked into a groove that happened to be there behind the door frame on the right side. So, all the lights come on whenever the pantry door is opened.
