Recommended Wash & Wax Products
Hey Folks! Just took ownership of our 2018 Imagine 2150RB. We love it already! Such a great couples camper! We'd like to keep it in tip top shape. Any information/suggestions on products for washing and waxing this TT? What is recommended and/or what have you had success using? Thanks in advance!

You can wax your rv with any automotive wax, but don’t use any petroleum distillates on the decals. They can ruin them. I’ve been using “303 Protectant” on the decals every couple months. We’ve only had the trailer for a year, but everything looks great. Tucson Jim has a product that I believe is made by Thetford, that can go over everything and is supposed to be safe. I may be transitioning to this some day.

Thanks Steve! I did try to use the forum's search but didn't come up with much. Dug a little deeper using a Google search of the forum and came up with a good thread!

I'll agree that WashWaxAll is great stuff (if a bit expensive). However, if you have sand, grit, grime, etc., on the rig, you need to clean that off first before you use the WashWaxAll or you'll end up with scratches. We use an aircraft wax with UV protection and have used 303 Protectant in the past with good results. UV protection is important - especially in the South and Southwest.

Yup. Do what I do and hire and RV washer/waxer. OK - I'm being flip but I really do hire someone to do it once a year. They usually charge by the foot, but it's worth it because I get to drink beer and watch.
Any quality car wash and wax will do. Use an extendable RV brush to gently scrub the sides - it will reduce your trips up and down the ladder. I don't recommend a paste wax because while that yields the very best finish, it's a ton of work on a car let alone an RV. A good liquid wax should do just fine I am partial to Mothers, Meguiars and Chemical Guys products. There are specialty RV waxes out there, but I figure if it's good enough for my Corvette, it's good enough for my coach. As the previous poster wrote, keep any petroleum distillates away from the coach. A power buffer will make life measurably easier BUT keep it away from the decals. When hand buffing, I find a soft, top quality microfiber cloth works best, but avoid the dirt cheap ones.
Safe travels.

I just used the Turtle Wax Hybrid ceramic wash/wax and then applied the Turtle Wax ceramic coating on the front cap. Looks good and is safe for decals. Project Farm did a test of a bunch of ceramic coatings and the Turtle Wax one came out as one of the best.
No power to RV
