What are you towing your Reflection 150 Series with
Curious to know what people are towing their Reflection 150 Series with? If you can post a picture, that would be great too.

Thanks for the response Monrow. It seems my 2017 F-150 SuperCrew 3.5L V6 EcoBoost will not be enough to pull the Reflection 150 Series 290BH we want to buy. It can certainly pull it but the sticker on the door frame reads "The combined weight of occupants and cargo should never exceed 1,600 lbs. My vehicle is rated to tow 10,600 lbs. conventional and 10, 200 lbs. fifth wheel.

I feel your pain and went through the same decision process with our 2010 Tundra. Back in the 70's I towed a 28' fifth wheel with a 1/2 ton Chevy from California to my job in Colorado; it was not a pleasant experience. As soon as I got to CO and settled in the new job I traded the Chevy for a 1 ton Jeep truck (J30) but since the new 1/2 tons seem to be so much more capable I was hoping I could use the Tundra. It was a great truck but I just couldn't find a way to make the payload work for a fifth wheel. I decided the only option that would allow for safe towing would be to either get a TT or a bigger truck. I finally bit the bullet and got a 1 ton diesel - it was an expensive trade but I'm really glad I did it now. Hope you can sort it out and find a solution that works for you.

crossfire3006 - It is interesting that "by the numbers" the exact truck that you have can't tow a Reflection 150 series as shown in the GDRV factory video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpwYplm6lOE .

My '17 has 1750 lbs payload. It's max tow not a HDPP. I put Super Springs on it. I am using the new Blue OX slider hitch. I had the Anderson Ultimate but it would not work with my F150 as it unloaded the front axle too much.
If I was towing 10k miles per year I would have a F150 with the HDPP as it is I am lucky to tow it 2k miles so I have no concerns about wearing it out.
You don't want the standard P metric tires that come on most F150's. I run the Goodyear Wrangler LT tires load range C. You could go with a E range if you prefer

My story too - the old fifth, listed in the signature, pushed my HDPP right to the sticker limit of 2,166lbs. Did almost 14,500 miles with that, much of it in the western mountains. But, when we had to replace it, all the comparable new 5ths had gained weight - I would have been over by 4-500lbs. So now have the Imagine TT. THEN GD came out with the 150 series! Haven't worked the numbers real closely, but it appears I still would be right at, or maybe a hair over, the weight limit. Perhaps a current version of the HDPP would make the difference, but there are very, very few 1/2 tons equipped to be able to handle the supposed "1/2 ton towable" fifths. All the trucks can pull - but most can't carry.

Towing with my 2010 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7L Hemi. It originally had 3.73 gears, but we switched out for 4.10 in order to increase towing capacity by 2000 pounds. Currently pulling a 295RL, haven't really seen any issues yet -- but we haven't had the 5er for too long either.
