Revisiting our Choice of the 303RLS

My wife and I have spent many hours over the last several years looking at RVs at the Indianapolis Boat Sport & Travel show. Found a lot we liked and disliked and finally zeroed in on the Reflection 303RLS and are happy with it. Over the weekend, we went to the show and had the opportunity to look at a bunch of rigs as owners and compare them to our 303. I have to say, we were still very much in love with out 303. It seems like a great layout for the size. Seems like every rig we looked at seemed to be lacking in storage or space compared to the size of the rig or was awkwardly laid out.

Obviously what is ideal for us isn't going to be ideal for everyone, and what's ideal for us today may not be ideal in a few years. But it was a very good feeling to look through such a selection of trailers and not see anything of significance we wish we had in ours or see anything that made us regret our choice.

We were going with the 303 until we took a good look at the closet in the 337. Between that and the bigger shower, we changed and bought a 337.

    Liked the 337 as well, but at the time we didn't have enough "truck". . . . . should've joined here sooner, I would've gotten the 3500 1st . . . .

Sure wish they made a TT version of the 303. I haven't looked at the GD 5vers since we will get a TT, but it is interesting that the 337 (5ver) and the 315RLTS (TT) have the exact same floorplans.

John and kathy, hello. Peewee henson here from reno, nv. Are you still towing your 303 5'er with the 6.2 l gas f250? How's it perform? I drive a 2006 gmc 2500 hd 4x4 extra cab 6l gas. Too much trailer-not enough truck, vice versa? Thanks for the wisdom

Yes we are. Tows just fine. Gas engines generate their power at high RPM so you need to learn to put your foot in it and let the transmission put the engine where it needs to be.

Ditto for us. So far, we’ve had it out for a one-week, a two-week and a three-week trip, as well as several weekends. Currently planning our first five-weeker, in the early spring...
