    Boomer,
The inline fuse is near the battery and is in a red rubber boot/casing. Click image for larger version.

Out of curiosity, what size fuse do you have for the front gear?

The fuse holders for the front and rear landing gear on our 337 are marked 30A yet contain 20A fuses. Last camper was 30A and I also carry spare 15, 20 and 30A spares.

    Hey guys,
Thanks for the help! I found the fuse, it was were I suspected. I found it under the cover of the electrical connection box. It's a real pain together to on my 303. They may have put it there because I added a second 6v battery. I will be moving it to a more convenient place when I get home. Thanks again!!!

Thanks...I haven't blown either of the 20A fuses, so I'll leave them for now.

Boomer...glad to hear that your problem is solved.

You may have an intermittent short to ground somewhere in the wiring. It only takes a split second for the fuse to blow with a short. I would recommend tracing the motor wires up to and past the fuse to be sure the wires aren't damaged. I've also seen situations where a motor with an internal short could be intermittent and result in the same problem. Not with our rig, but with electric motors in general. Good luck finding the problem.

Locating the fuse for an electric landing gear is one of the first things I do on a new fifth wheel. Dave gave exact answers to this, if you bottom out the gear retracting it you will blow the fuse 100% of the time.
