    Decorating the new digs

So , anyone else going through the new trailer nesting along with me? Been decorating and thinking about how to fill in the few wall spots with pictures etc as we travel around. Still pondering the spot between the 2 windows on the dining side.
Here's what I've done so far. The picture in the kitchen hutch was one of the best sunsets we had the privilege of enjoying to date on the shores of Lake Superior. Added a few words and had it mounted on foam core to hang. The little guy chewing on wood is one of my carvings.
The check list (long as you remember to use it) is dry erase made for school lockers and have another inside the front cabinet to use as a grocery list gatherer.

You've got some true talent there in the carvings, but love the picture of sunset. It looks like it was made for there!

Here's some of the decorator touches that we've added to Tudee. Still need to find an artificial cactus/succulent to put on the bottom shelf of the island.

I used some of the peel and stick thingies above my dressing table and they seem to work very well! You sure don't have to worry about taking them down or getting them damaged in trransit! I got mine a t Michaels-they have a pretty big selection of these. I don't know why the system seems to be turning pictures sideways!!

Here's a picture of the portable ham radio station. The dog bed with the cover to match the interior also shows. The outside picture shows the ham radio antenna (one camper asked about the giant rabbit ears).

LOL at the giant rabbit ears...
BTW, 2hams is that a box you made for the ham station or is that something prefabbed?

Dave made the box from AA plywood and an oak cabinet door that he had. I made the dog bed cover.

This is fun, I like getting a peek at all the different ways we get creative.

I love looking at all the decorating pictures! I haven't done much decorating in our rig yet. I have put a new comforter set on the bed, bought some rugs, and put up some picture frames for the end tables. I love Sandi's idea of the peel and stick things. I have been afraid of putting anything on the walls because I don't want to damage them. What do you all use to hang stuff on the walls?

I use those 3M Command strips, both the sticky one and the velcro type. They seem to do a good job but I've never used it on anything very heavy. Things can be removed easily without leaving holes in the walls.
