I notice when we take off and stop, we hear a loud banging or popping noise. Like it's shifting and not locked. Is this normal? Not sure what I should expect?

We have a Reese hitch and hear the same noises...makes me nervous every time, but I guess it's normal.

Ours hitch is pinned in, and we think that is where the noise is coming from...not tight enough.

There is a nylon adjusting block in the front of the Superglide that you can tighten to eliminate some of that noise.
Should explain most of that in the owners manual for the hitch...

Steve is correct, the adjustment is in the Owner's Manual. In my manual it is on page 11 and titled "Adjusting The Turntable Cam Arm Assembly". It states that this adjustment will need to be made periodically.
Thanks guys. Checked the manual and made the adjustments.
