backsplash over stove
Has anyone tried to remove the solid piece that looks like tile behind the stove? If so, how did you do it? I'd like to replace with Smart Tiles. Thanks.

Yes we did (or my wife did) and the back and sides got tiled so if grease splatters can be cleaned with glass cleaner

I tiled right over the existing backsplash and it did fantastic! I cleaned it well with TSP. Went on easily, no issues!
