23LDE - Slide/Body Gap?
Hi All - Newbie here…
How flush should the slide be to the trailer body? I’ve run the slide in/out several times and every time the slide ends up about a finger’s width from the body. It looks like there is a seal that is making connection.
Or, should the outside slide wall be absolutely tight against the body?
(Photo doesn’t appear to be correctly rotated in post, but is right when you open the pic. This is is the leading edge of the slide. The back edge has the same gap.)

Maybe you can post a picture? I own an LDE and though my slide is not airtight, it is closed. As for your finger gap, are you having to insert your finger between the seal? Does the slide seal make contact with the exterior wall? I will have to go to the storage unit and double check next week. Lol

Is the bulb seal behind the flap compressed?

@Hoppy Frood - I think so.
I’ll have to run it out tomorrow to see how compressed the seal is.

As long as the D seal is compressed a min of 30%, that is all that matters. My slide on my 22mle looks similar to your picture.

Yep, that looks about right. You wouldn't really want it tight to the side anyway as it would mar the heck out of the finish as you bounce down the road. But yes, it looks about the same as our LDE and previous MLE.
