Hanging Hardware
My wife wants to hang some picture frames and other items on the inside walls to make our Reflection more personalized and "homey". I remember reading somewhere that other Grand Design owners recommended not using Command hardware because it damaged their walls. I always used the Command product line in our motorhome without any issues but hesitant to use it in the Reflection. I hate putting holes in the walls so not sure what to use now. Any hanging suggestions or comments on Command hardware would be appreciated. Thanks!

We used them for about a year and then the problem started!! It seems to me that the glue on the Command Strip pulls the glue out of the wallpaper. We had two items to let go and hit the floor. Believe me the strip was rated for much more than whet we had hanging on it. It left bubbled up wallpaper about the size of a silver dollar. Not pretty!!! We took all of them down and just used screws. I decided I would rather have a screw than bubbled and ripped wallpaper! Quite a few others have had the same experience.

3M Command specifically states that their strips should not be used on wallpaper. Here is a cut and paste (I've linked to their website below) from their FAQ section:
"Surfaces
Q: To what surfaces will Command™ Products stick?
A: Almost any sealed/ painted surface such as painted GyprockŪ, stained or varnished wood, painted smooth concrete, glass, ceramic tile and stainless steel.
Q: What surfaces should I avoid using Command™ products on?
A: Unpainted surfaces, rough or porous surfaces like bricks, bare wood, wall paper, plastic surfaces such as vinyl."

We personally chose not to place anything on the walls to prevent damage and decreased trade-in value in the future. But if we were going to hang anything, it would be with screws.
