    Question Fuel stops

Just took our first trip in our Solitude 369RL. We expected that many gas stations would be excluded due to our length, and that we would need to use larger truck stops. Although the larger stops are easy to find, they are not always easy to use. None of our credit cards are accepted at the pump. We must go inside and pre-pay to pump. The RV islands are nice when available, but surely there is an easier way. What does everyone else do?

    Doyle & Joy,

As Good Sam members, we have the RV Plus Card from Pilot and Flying J. The card is accepted at the pump and you also get a discount on the fuel.

flying J/pilot are the best. Get a Good Sam card that gives 2 cent discount....they are very good, though if not travelling on major routes, they are not around. Go onto their web site and see all their locations, some stations have a booklet with all their locations and associated amenities at the station ie, rv lane, dump station etc.

Pilot/Flying J also has an App for your IPhone that will give you their locations and their amenities based on your location at the time.

    Jim,
I wish more stations were like the one you pictured. Mosrt have pumps facing the other direction.
